Make backup copy of CD with Dongle Key

Have a software package that uses a Dongle with a key code to run the software. Is there a way to make a copy for my laptop that does not need a Dongle?

You should be able to backup the cd without problem as it usually isn't protected.

The dongle provides the key to run the application contained on the cd.

Only way around a dongle is to reverse engineer (aka crack) the appliaction so that it doesn't ask the dongle for anything.

What application is it, and I'll look into it for you.
