DVD9 and Sony

Does it cost more to make games on dual layer discs. DVD movies are all the same price (DVD5 and DVD9.)

The reason I ask is why doesn't Sony just make all games on a dual layer format as a copy protection.

Xenosaga is on dvd9 and there will be more very soon. Yes this will protect them for a little while but somebody always figures out a way around everything. Remember when dvd movies were supposed to be uncopyable?
