Question on Burning some of these games...
I would like to know if anyone has had success doing the following with the below games:
Return to Wolfenstein (game of the year edition) Medal of Honor; Allied Assault Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast Has anyone (A) been able to successfully burn these games to CD, and (B) had any issues playing with others online in multiplayer with the copy of these CD's being used? I remember reading a while ago that Half Life did not allow multiplayer to take place if duplicate CD KEYS were being used and I know the C&C games you can not use duplicates in a straight copy either. Using NERO 5.5.9.17 Thank you for your comments in advance, much appreciated. Last edited by haxattax; 07-12-2002 at 19:22. |

dude
i made a working backup of medal of honour allied assault using nero 5.5.9.9 it took 2 houres to read the disc using a hp100j dvd+rw/cd-r/rw drive i put this down to the copy protection as i had several dozen read errors. but once burned the game installed ok i have no problems and as the backup was from a legal original i own i have no problems going online to multi player games. this is also the case for return to castle wolfenstein soldier of fortune 2 battlefield 1942 and unreal tournament 2003 all took approx 2 houres to read but burned ok since upgrading to nero 5.5.9.17 it now takes aprox 20 miniutes to read these games.

Yeah I got wolf to burn pretty quick with the latest nero, but I wanted to know if I ran the original and a copy on two different computers online in the same multiplayer match if it would be an issue.
