Only a few cd-recorders support Safedisc V2 for example i have a Plextor PX-R820T. it's record safedisc V2.
Use ClonyXL and follow the instruction to copy with clone cd Safedisc V2

Good luck trying to find a downgraded firmware. They are difficult to find.

Can your copies from your Plex work in ANY burner? Most can only work from the burner only.

I have a Lite-On LTR-12101b and I can't backup my NBA LIVE 2001 for the PC. This game also uses Safedisk V2.

Is my CDW-RW any good. Will it work with proper settings?

Plese someone reply, I'm sick of coasters!

make sure you install and run from a cdrom, not a writer.
The latest version of SD2 checks the ATIP to see if it's a CDR, rather than a silver pressed cd. Writers can check the ATIP, not many cdroms can.
And don't forget that insektors and playbackup are blacklisted.
Failing that, use Daemon Tools.

@Chupaweed
Check my link above and if your writer has a spot in the "Correct EFM coding of byte patterns" then it's capable of SD2 1:1 copies that should work in any cdrom. However, newer SD2 versions won't run a cdr from a writer 'cos of the ATIP check.

NO plextor 1210A can do SD2, EVEN if you downgrade the firmware. It is hardware limitation , NOT firmware. Some chips from SANYO do NOT let the burner do correct EFM encoding.

I own a plexwriter 12\10\32a and it can burn safedisk 2. The only downfall is, when loading the game you have to use your burner to read the cd instead of a regular cdrom. There are other ways around sf2. I just download the game crack (fixed exe) from gamecopyworld and burn them to the cd. It is very easy. Just copy the files to your hd, add an extra folder to the game labeled crack or patch.
After you install the game, overwrite the orginal .exe with the fixed exe file. I burn all of my SF2 game this way.

Goodluck
