Messiah

I have pal v4 with messiah fitted it will boot PS2 originals and most backups.
PSone games boot but controller not plugged in message appears any ideas why they wont play they work fine in playstation consoles.
Also couple of PS2 back ups run and load very slowly.
Using Primo and datasafe dvdr.
appreciate any ideas.

psx_paul is on a distinguished road
the slow running backups could be down to the datasafe DVD-R, try some better media like Traxdata DVD-R or the big boys like Verbatim etc.

Just curious, how new are the datasafes that you have?
The newer datasafes, use the exact same dye as the traxdatas...

datasafe

they are very recent 2 speed general purpose datawrite classic
didn't have any problem with 1 speed whitetop tried burning at 1 speed with nero and primo same result with ty game slow load and jittery clips but in game runs ok any ideas. Using 104 other games burn and run fine bit strange.

I am quite sure it is a messiah sold as bootmaster by divineo with link to messiah hope I am right with that.
