PROBLEM with NOCDs for NBA 2003

Hi!
Ive got a big problem:
After a full installation of nba live 2003 and having replaced the exe-file (with even several different nocds), the game only starts (and works) once or twice. When running it for the third time the game stucks at the beginning (when all the trademark-rules are on the screen) and doesnt want to countinue...
I even formated my harddrive and reinstalled windows, but again, I could only play it once.

If someone knows, what the reason for this could be, please help me!
