As far as the PS2... YES... on both questions....
X-Box is a different story.... You will be banned from X-box Live if you have a mod chip....

I have a modded PS2 from Hong Kong. The model at the back is NTSC | J instead of NTSC | U/C.
When I tried to load the setup disc that came with the Network Adapter, it doesn't load. Any idea what I can do? Thanks.
