BetaBlocker Compatability
Having tried BetaBlocker i have tested and found the following:
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 works Black and White doesnt Or am i wrong, have other people managed to get safedisc 2 protected games working with BetaBlocker, i will continue to test BetaBlocker with safdisc 2 protected games and inform all you guys. If you have tested any games with BetaBlocker can you post them here please. Peace & Knowledge is power.

I tried it with Black & White and Max Payne Clone cd images earlier tonight and it worked flawlessly with both at its default settings.
Installed both games, downloaded the newest patches (1.01 for Max Payne and 1.100 for B&W, updated them and they still worked without complaining about the dodgy cd. =] Looks like a fantastic wee util so far.. Plextor PX-R412C (4x writer, doesnt support sd2) reading them on a Pioneer 10x Dvd slotin. Clone CD 3.0.5.1 with Dont repair sub channel data checked. Regards

Plextor writers have seen as the best cd-writer for copying games with
safedisc 2 protected games, making exact copies. have you tried using betablocker coz its sounds as if you have made a working copy independently of using betablocker.

I know my drive doesnt support safedisc 2 writing, I've tried max payne and operation flashpoint clone cd images before and it wouldnt recognise them as legitimate on either the plextor or the pioneer. :/
http://elby.org/CloneCD/english/cdr_p.htm The PX-R412 (SCSI) doesnt support "Correct EFM encoding of regular bit patterns" and thats what it needs to be able to do if its to make a exact copy of safedisc2 sectors afaik. So the little program has definately worked its magic for me with my mentioned games, strange it did not with your Black and White

BetaBlocker has just come out, so its not a suprise if it doesnt work with all games, after time, hopefully, the program will work better with many other cd-writers and games with safedisc 2 protected game.
But keep those posting games that work and dont Knowledge is power

anyone who successfully copied max payne using betablocker, did you also try to install the game with the copied CD? I've copied it (Plextor 16x) and it plays just fine, but when I try to install the game with the copied CD, the installation program crashes. I successfully copied settlers4, both installation and playing work fine.

BetaBlocker works only for drives that can copy sd1
ie mitsumi cr4804te i tried max payne and black and white also, although i didnt try the offical patches yet but they work fine.... shame its only in german, im interested in exactly how it works but i cant read the nfo.

My HP 9300 series CD writer can copy safedisc version 1, however, it does not produce successful copies of some safedisc 2 protected games.

madden 2002
I made a backup copy of madden 2002 with clone cd and let betablocker patch the image file. I am able to install and play Madden without cracking the main exe. Only catch is: I CANNOT play the backup in my CDR. Will only play in my DVD-ROM.
CDR: plextor 121032A fw 1.08 DVD: Pioneer dvd-115 haven't tested with other titles or drives.
