PS2 Backups - are some games protected??

Help!!

I am trying to backup my Lord of The Rings (UK PAL), Smackdown Shut Your Mouth and MOH Frontline games but am having no luck. When I backup my other stuff I have no probs. Are some PS2 games protected? If so are there patches available? I am using the brand new NEO Premium Media (generation4.3).

Please help dudes! : (

Thanks

No there are no protections. No patching is necessary. Try one with different media.

PS2 has cd-rom based games and dvd-rom based games. Some of the cd-rom games are protected but NONE of the dvd-rom games. FOr the DVD-rom games i use PrimoDVD and do the global image method. Never had a coaster yet. I use Verbatim dvd-r. I had no luck with Memorex dvd-r.

I agree with Rubber. Verbatim are very good discs and quite reasonably priced. I am in UK and they are about £2:50 a go

I like TDK as well as verbatim. Both work well for PS2 backups
