mohaa gone bad?

I have made a backup of my mohaa cd in the past. I copied according to the protection used which I think was safedisc. The backup was successfull, I installed and ran the game for a few weeks.
Since then I have reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows xp. Today I tried to install mohaa using my backup copies and they won't install. I tried several times but kept on getting a crc error.
I don't understand why they wouldn't work now when they worked before. I have also had the same problem with motogp, only this one let me install but asks for the correct cd when I try to play.
Both of these games were working copies .
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, assuming that you don't have little kids for neighbors that borrow your cds and scratch the hell out of them (that's me )
I'd say maybe try installing from the drive you backed them up from? I had similar problems with SoF2, and of course the problems were rooted from my errors. I dunno, the .pak files have tendacies to be touchy.

I have tried installing from my cdrom and also from my cdrw. I have also tried with and without the "hide cd media" option. Nothing seems to work, some how my working copies become coasters. There isn't a scratch on them either.
