Age Of Mythology

I have read all the posts that I can and nothing is working. I bought the special edition of this game (no. 513 of 5,000) (big deal huh!) Anyways I tried using clonyxxl, I tried 1:1 with clony, I tried 1:1 with clone. Still nada. I even downloaded the tlf version and still no go. I'm at a loss here. I am going away for a month and I sure don't want that cd bouncing around in my laptop case. I have a Pioneer DVD303S reader and a Plextor 12/10/32S scsi. I even tried lowering the firmware on my cdrw and that didn't help either. I just want to know if anyone has sucessfully backed up this game.

If its not broke give it to me I'll break it!

Mount a CloneCD image with Daemon Tools. It will work this way and you don't need a crack. If you really need a backup cd, make sure your burner is safedisc 2 compatible.

Unhappy Not yet

When I try that dos version my scsi bios keeps resetting, it seems to be trying though. I'm wondering if I should try with my dvd?

Angry Dammit!

Still a no go, I ended up dumping the cd with ddump on my laptop. Then I wrote with Nero but still asks for disc 1 after its burnt. I give up.

Question

Use a NoCD to play the installed game. You don't need the CD then...

Na

The new writer ripped it no problem. I don't believe in those no cd cracks. I like to play online and alot of those don't work. I found after I wrote the cd, that I could only play it in my dvd player. As for the Plextor it was a no go, it wouldn't backup a duplicate.

Download it, install it. Left click on it in the system tray, it'll say: -- Device 0: [ G:] No Media -- Now, Left click that. It'll open a browse window. Find the .ccd you wish to mount, and you're done.

Note: The letter G can be any letter, dependant on how many drives you already had previous to daemon tools installation.

Next time, RTFM.
