Has anyone used the plug modchip for playstaion? Does it work and is it as good as the soldered type?

It works, but it is not as good as the internal modchips. The internal chips are so cheap these days dont waste your money on external mods.

Absolutely right, Not to mention about half the backups wont boot using plugmods. They also have a problem with the audio skipping, Buy a chip.
