A friend of mine has told me that a JAP PS2 modded with the Messiah 2 won't be able to play PAL games PAL DVD movies etc. Because a NTSC machine wont output a PAL signal. Just thought i would ask you this since you own a JAP machine.

I don't see why that would be an issue.....
I have a PAL V5 and it will output NTSC signals fine.... I would think it should work the other way also...  Hmmm..... Ok Charlie_PS2....Give us your insight.....

The only one I have at the moment is my PAL V5.... I have a US PS2 on the way.....
