FairLight (FLT) Tiger Woods 2003 NoCD Not Working!

The tw2003.exe file does nothing on my sysytem ... it just sits in my processes and won't even load the splash screen

any ideas?

I run WinXP Pro

The only suggestions I can give you is, Make sure you've done full install, not express, and that you've put the crack in the right folder.

Works for me on Windows XP Pro.

I had exactly the same issue (also xp although not relevant I don't think...)

Check your sound card drivers. I ha unwittingly put a software device as my default sound device (not the Audigy) which tw2003 didn't like.

Control panel etc. will let you check the preferred hardware is the default.

If no luck send dxdiag info to EA support, they are reasonably ok.

Oh is the cracked exe which wont work? Sorry didn't realise...

BTW could someone email this no CD to me?? :-)

I've got the full game but hate the hassle of ... blah... blah...

Interesting to know how many people use no CD patches for games they do own and otherwise...

Personally, I do both.... :-)

Hey Bud

I did a full install (not express) but still nothing ... It won't run from my CDRW, DVD or even from a Daemon Tools loaded BIN image!

I wish I understood this NoCD stuff like BoolsEye does ... I've been using cracks for years, but have never been able to figure out how to make the cracks

Anyway, any other ideas?

P.S. - I checked my audio device settings and everythings seems fine ...

Try disabling your sound card (sorry to bang on about the sound thing but I've just had 3 days of torment...) restarting with it disabled and see if TW2003 works (without sound).

If it does, then you've narrowed it down, if it still doesn't then sound is probably not the problem.

BTW if you have the noCD could you bung it over to me??

Very much appreciated. Just tried it and all is OK!! Chuffed as ninepence! The CD's are back in the box tucked away nice and safe.

How did the sound card disabling go?

Did you manage to run the game before the no CD patch was applied?

I can disable my Audigy sound card, start the game, and then ALT-Tab out and re-enable my Audigy ... This allows the game to start (finaly!) and even gives me sound during the intro and movie ... I don't have any sound when I play the actual game though

Damn that Creative Labs and their lousy driver support!!!

Thanks for the mad tip though, I was going nuts just trying to get the thing to work!!!
