Unreal Tournamet..1 to 1 copy? confusion?

Hello,

I've just read one of the longest Thread about Unreal Tournament talking all about the new protection and i've checked on gamecopyworld.com and it's cd check protection.

Now, how do I make a 1:1 copy with cd check?

You can use any program, just as long as it allows you to copy the cd. Nero, Clonecd, all work without a hitch. However, this is for the ORIGINAL Unreal Tournament. The thread you were referring to was probably this one, and as you can see that one is about Unreal Tournament 2003, the sequel to Unreal Tournament. UT2003 uses Securom New and is impossible at this moment to copy exact. So check which version you've got, UT has 2 cd's, UT2003 has three cd's.

No it's more than cd-checks, it is Securom New (4.8 series). It cannot be copied 1:1 (in the true sense of 1:1), however you can make a workable backup copy that requires no patch by using Blindwrite Suite to copy the game - it may not work in all drives. Or you can alter the Clone CD image by using a program called Twinpeak.

Edit: You beat me to it

gh0sth@cker, check his original question. He's confusing UT and UT2003 and it's not clear which version he actually has. I'd gamble on UT2003 and it looks like he checked the entry for UT which of course only mentioned cd checks. But it's still possible he actually has UT original and got confused by the threads about UT2003.

Yes that's probably what has happened. So as stated, for original Unreal: basically any program that can copy a cd
For 2003: Blindwrite
