Hi there,
anyone with an idea how to disable the cd ##### protection?
I just hate it to wait for an nocd patch for the right version of an game
(like gothic)

i'm not sure you can disable it. i read somewhere that there are so many different ways to include the cd ##### it makes it almost impossible to make a perfect backup. i had the same trouble with tribes2 and had to get the no cd patch, but maybe some one knows more about it than us and will enlighten us.

With CloneCD, you have to read both subchannel, use fast error skip with no retries and software correction.
I've done Serious Sam with no probs.
