i am thinking of buying an action replay 2v2 cartidge to go in my ps2, my question is will it boot up and play psx1 and ps2 games without the need for a modchip, i read somewhere that it does???

no u still need a basic swap chip the u use your AR2V2 as a bootdisk.

Better off going with messiah, magic 2 because u elimanate the swapping process.
