They are more expensive than Traxdata, I would go for Traxdata as they work np.

Hi I just tested my Traxdata DVD-R's with a program called ADVDinfo and this is what it came up with.

00 42 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 50 00 02 37 0E 0B [email protected]..
FE FF 80 00 03 52 49 54 45 4B 47 00 04 30 33 00 .....RITEKG..03.

Meaning that these are Ritek Generation 3's but rebadged as Traxdata hope this helps.

Ashley.

Ashley.
heres my traxdata reading
00 42 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 50 00 02 37 0E 0B [email protected]..
FE FF 80 00 03 52 49 54 45 4B 47 00 04 30 33 00 .....RITEKG..03.

as u can c 100% same but my guess is there are many ritekg03 out there
but begginning part of the numbers means dye type and so on

below is a chioces 2x media
00 42 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 50 00 02 98 0C 13 [email protected].....
76 78 80 00 03 54 44 4B 47 30 32 00 04 30 30 30 VX...TDKG02..000

here is fws 2x unbranded
00 42 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 50 00 02 8A 0D 14 [email protected].....
88 88 80 00 03 54 44 4B 47 30 32 00 04 30 30 30 .....TDKG02..000

please note both are tdk g2 but some numbers are differenet(if u look dye on both disks they r different)
both disk wor/dont work with ps2
fws has better success rate then they chioces on older ps2
personally stick with the traxdata

although datsafe dvdr same dye traxdata manufactured by ritek are alot cheaper i order 10 soon c if they are exactly same disk
anyone got any theses dist and can post the info on them ?
