NBA2003 & Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad
Hi
have NBA2003 installed and when selecting MS Sidewinder it accepts the choice ok and the game starts. After about 30 secs of gameplay the sidewinder gamepad stops responding and I cannot select/move anything. Anyone got any ideas. The gamepad is configured and calibrated ok in Windows. The pad seems to work ok with other games. System Asus CUSL2 Mobo PIII800 512mb SDRAM Sapphire Radeon 9000 64mb GC (Catalyst 2.4drivers) S/Blaster Live Value WinXP + SP1 Cheers Smiffy

Are you accidently hitting the mode button at any time? The one just below the little green light. My friend does that all the time when playing games on my comp. If it's off, the joystick will stop responding because it's used when you hook more than one controller together. The light should be on at all times. If you are hitting it, just turn it back on and the joystick functionality will return in a second or two.
I've ended up taping a piece of cardboard over my button so my friend didn't hit it all the time. It's never been a problem for me, but he's more of a button masher than I am

Hi m8
Thanks for the suggestion but it is'nt that,I managed to borrow an identical MS Sidewinder and it does exactly the same. Must be a prob with the actual game rather than the controller. Smiffy |
