Can we please confirm if the Messiah 2 chip is available in the uk and has been 4 the last week, coz if it aint my m8 has been conned and others are waiting to be conned. And is there any easy way to tell if it is the real messiah 2 after its been fitted.

The Messiah 2 is to be released on 20-Nov-02 and has NOT been released to date.
The developers have sent out pre-production mods to invited individuals (incl. myself) and these have found there way into test PS2s for which reports have been published in various forums. The easiest way to tell after it has been fitted is to open up the PS2 and have a look/take a photo. Does the PS2 concerned work? More details please.

To be honest he has'nt got it back yet wich makes me wonder if he's holding on to it untill he's got the new chips. The bit that bothers me is he told him that he'd done 10 over the weekend....I think theres the distinct smell of a rat in there. charlie_ps2 check youre personal

Sounds like "HE" is holding it until he gets the chips.....
