allied assault help please

whenever i launch the game in single player it will start to load then it will crash to windows. any help is appreciated.

Update\reinstall your vid card drivers, reboot. Reinstall DirectX 8.1, reboot. I'm judging on the idea that the q3a engine is failing due to no openGL rendering support. If not this.. then you'll need to be more specific, maybe error codes.

depending on what error message, if its a backup one, i know it only plays on one of my cd drives, not sure if this helps ??

Have you updated to v1.11?? Do that, as this might be that crap with 56k modems that v1.0 and v1.10 used to give it out.
