I got the game Hitman2 the other day. so i thought i would try and make a backup copy of it. i went on to gamecopyworld and downloaded the no cd exe fix. then i installed winace so i could open the rar file. i went to extract the new exe file and winace gave me the CRC error. so the winace website said this about the error:

There are several reasons why WinAce could report a CRC (checksum) error. Generally this means that the file could not be extracted correctly because the data within the archive has been corrupted. This can happen during the transfer over the internet if the connection is unstable or more downloads are performed at once.

well i have DSL and i know that DSL uses something called a firewire i think. anyway could my DSL be corrupting the file when i download it from the game copy world website? and if the firewire has something to do with it is there a why to by pass it while i download the file from the website? They also said this:

You can always try to repair the archive (Ctrl-P), but if this fails, we recommend to download the file again.

Well i don't know where they want me to press ctrl-p so i have been doing it all over and nothing was ever fixed. I also have downloaded the file many times. Finally they said this:

Another common reason for a reported CRC error is a full target drive. Please make sure that there is enough free disk space on the drive you want to extract your files to.

but I know this can't be it cause i have more than enough space. So what i think is either my DSL is messing up the file as i download it or maybe the file some how was messed up when the people at game copy world uploaded it. anyone else have this problem? Well thank you for the help!
