Prassi Problem

After i follow the first few steps and click "build". Whenever it finishes making the .gi file it always says at the bottom of the explorer window 'Completed with errors' and then the file always deletes itself. Which then means I can't burn my backup.

Is there a problem here or am I doing something stupid?

Any comments/help is appreciated.

Try changing DMA setting to PIO via the Device Manager. Also it is recomended to set your Burner on it's own IDE channel. I have mine set as a Secondary Master with nothing else.

Try that see if it helps.

Try upgrading your firmware, earlier versions where a bit iffy.

Go to www.pioneer-eur.com for the latest version.

I'm running XP Pro OS, can't remember if it's the same for win98 SE, etc.

Goto Control Panel, System, Device Manager, Scroll down till you see IDE /ATA/ATAPI CONTROLLERS, left click on the + sign and highlight Secondary IDE channel, right click properties and it's the second Tab . That's what i do on my system cos my A04 is set as Secondary Master. There you can turn off the DMA and change it to PIO.
