best CD-R media for PS2? Blue,Gold,Silver or Black?
best PSX media? Blue,Gold,Silver or Black?
i can get all this differernt type blank CD-R, of course, Silver is the cheapest, $0.5Au/each, Black is most expensive $1.00Au/each. which one should i buy ? I know the silver is now very good, but just what is the effect has on PS2 Laser read these differernt type blank CD-R? i want my PS2 laser to be good, u know, so... It really doesn't make a difference when it comes to CDR for Ps2 since you can use just about any CD-R's and it works fine..
However Generics does work the laser harder so I recommend that forgot the color and something like Sony,Imation,TDK or Verbatim CD-R's..I personally use Sony and Imation nothing else on CD-R's..I believe charlie_PS2 has a thread on this under laser & Media issues..

It doesn't matter at all. The only difference between the medias is the colouring in the dye (black, gold etc). But as A03 said, watch out for generics as they will work your laser harder.
