Yes indeed! The file posted on GCW is just Razor's 1.32 fixed exe. So no-cd crack, anyone??

But than again new patch is coming out soon, so we'll be back at the begining.

Cool

HI, I have the cds so I don't need a no-cd.exe, but a trainer that works would be awesome! Is their chance that Deviance will update their DIVINE DIVINITY PLUS 8 TRAINER, to the newest version? OR can anyone suggest another trainer available that works with the newest version?

Thanks

It looks like there won't be any more nocd's for divine divinity. Make an image of the third disc with clonecd or nero and mount it using daemon tools et voila, no cd required.

P.S. As far as cheating goes, I still haven't found a trainer or mod for DD but I'm using Poke, so far it works(so so) with health magic and stamina. I trying to edit gold, it will change total gold that is listed in player statistic, but in my inventory my gold coins remain the same?

Anyone fimilar with Poke have any suggestions??

I don't have a registered version so I doubt asking 3am Labs will do any good!

I don't use Poke, but I've got a remark to make. There's a difference between the number of gold in your stats, which is a number you've already found, and the gold piles in your inventory. These gold piles, 50000 each and one pile for the remainder, are actually objects, so you can't simply add them by editing a number in memory. What you probably CAN do however, is edit the gold in a certain stack. Search for the number of gold pieces in one particular stack, for example 12345, and you can change that stack to 50000, but you can't add extra stacks. I haven't tested this, but if there's a way to make multiple stacks in your inventory of only 1 gp each (or another low number that can be easily searched for in memory) then you can raise each stack to 50000. You'll have to find adresses for each stack though. I also think that the number in the stats that you found, is actually a sum of the totals in your inventory. In other words if even 1 gp is added or subtracted in your inventory, the number in the stats would reset itself to the total number in the inventory. In other words the value of the gold in stats depends on the value of each stack in the inventory. Maybe the better way is to look for ONE stack, and lock that value permanently to 50000. This way you can buy whatever you want and it won't lower. If you want more you'll have to lock more stacks. All of this is naturally pure guesswork on my side, so just take from my advice what actually works and ignore the rest as the musings of someone who really, really ought to get some sleep

No I'd suggest you just play the game. There's a spell, I think of the divine school, 'Gift Of The Heavens' that gives random treasure, so by then you'll be able to literally fill the screen with gold. Just play the game and regularly sell stuff to merchants and you'll be rich in no time. If there's one message about this game on the forums, it's that gold is very easy to get.

Well, it WAS a pretty safe assumption, until YOU put your big nose in my thread Anyway, since I'm so vocal here, it's probably poetic justice that I'll serve as test subject for your monstrous creation I'll send you a pm with my email adress

Well Bools Eye, your patch definitely works. So now there's a nocd for divine divinity 1.32. I take it you'll be submitting it to GCW ?

In the mean time, until GCW puts it up, anyone who wants it can give me a pm with a valid email adress. It's only a 1.5K download, so it'll fit in any mailbox. You have to put it in the same directory as the 1.32 fixed exe that you can download here, and run it to turn the fixed exe in a no cd. Has been tested by me for at least an hour and plays perfectly.

Edit : I might add that I tested this with all files from the cd's on my hard disk. In the subdirectory \disc3\ on the third cd, you can find a "static" and "localizations" subdirectory, you might have to copy the contents of those subdirectories to the same named subdirectories on your hard disk. I had already done this, so I don't really know if it's necessary. Can someone try and see if this is really necessary ?
