Question PS2 backup on DVD+R / +RW??

Hello everyone!!

A friend of mine have just bought a Sony DVD+RW burner, and we would like to use it for backing up our PS2 games.
I have read in this forum that it is recommended to use DVD-R discs, but now that we have a +RW burner, i would like to ask if it is totally impossible to use +R or +RW discs???

Thanx for your time.. Madman

Its not impossible to use +R discs but there is no guarantee that they will work....
Some PS2's will read a +r disc. Some will not...
You will just have to try it and see......

I have a V7 PS2 these have the new drives in them that read +R media. I think V6 read them to.

V5 and above will read +R as long as the laser is in good shape.
Should still use the -R format if possible because they are easier to read and have better success with the ps2's.
