If people would only search this site's topics!!!

Everyone keeps asking essentially the same questions. all I should say is LOOK THROUGH THE TOPICS! Anyhow, you should have a reader completely compatible with cloneCD. You should have a writer that supports DAO/RAW and it is ideal if it is built with Phillips hardware, if not a Phillips drive itself (some Plextors have this.) It's best to use 80 minute CD's as cloneCD stops writing at 89. Never read/write over 4X, and lower would be smart because as drives wear, they become unstable.

Is life so short and precious that a disc has to be copied in a couple of minutes! Hey BOT-CK, what's your views on this short life that we are in a hurry to get through but don't want to leave?

Hey i agree with the point about the same question being asked over and over agian. But you should never buy philips hardware, it might copy safedisk 2 but thats all it can really do, the drives are complete shit, they can't to securom and many other protections and i think there reading capabities are crap as well. Never buy a writer just to copy one stupid protection.

That is absolute bullshit !!! From where are all your statements about phillips. I have an old phillips CDD3600 and could until now, burn every copyprotection, except and here it comes: SD2 !!!
So what do you say know, hmmmm ????

I not saying every single Philips ever made will copy SD2 but some do, obviously some will not like yours but there are a few made a while back that will, but those writers are complete crap I don’t even think they make them anymore but you can buy them because a few retailers still have them lying around. Next time I’ll try to be more clear, I didn’t mean all Philip writers just the one’s that can do SD2.
