WTF is wrong with NERO!

for some reason everytime i use nero burner it freaken freezes just sits there and looks dumb! i've used it a couple times but after that every time i use it BLAM the sucker freezes on me. its driving me insane. if u want to know what im using its this
Program Nero: 5.039 i think
Burner: Creative 8x 38e
processer: 750 athlon t-bird
ram: 164mb
os: Winblows ME

if u have no ####ing clue whats wrong let me tell me atleast what burning program i can use. Adaptec wont work cuz it dont support my drive yet. but im open to anything else. let me know.

Have you tried Prassi abCD? I dont know what its like for ive never used. I carnt help you with your problem using Nero for i havent used that either. The only ones i have used are Adaptec (which you state doesnt work with your burner) and CloneCD (which i doubt would work with your burner either) Besides Prassi abCD there is cdrwin. These are the only backup copying programs that i know of. Wish i could have been of more help to you.

ASPI layer is for adaptec, Nero has its own type of ASPI, forget the abbreviation for it, anyway, ensure your using the Nero version and not Adaptec version of this layer or Nero will screw up. Go to the ahead (nero) website and download their version of aspi there
