Maybe you can try the Blind read/write suite.

ok let me try and help. CloneCD can take a while especially with some certain protections. The best way i find is to set it as this

-SubChannel Data from Audio Tracks: ON
-SubChannel Data from Data Tracks: ON
-Fast Error Skip: ON

now it can take from 30 mins upto 60mins to even do the first 3-5% of the CD depending on the copy protection and it may well look as if it is doing absolutely nothing at all. The best way is to wait for upto 20mins and if it comes up with 1% then its working. After it has done 3-5% of the CD (or passed the protection) the rest of the CD should be done within 2 mins. Note it doesnt take as long to write the CD as it does to read it. Also get cloneCD version 2.8.4.2.

I am also new to doing any of this and had this information sent via e-mail amongst other things when i couldnt get clone to work at all. If i am wrong on anything here someone will correct me. Hope i helped.

Spot on info, thats about how it works. It will probably say something like 6 hours remaining but this goes down as soon as it has read the protection.

Can you find someone that has a plextor SCSI CD rom or Teac 532S and Teac CD writer(55S)?
if yes...... use disjuggler and use the setting from this page.
http://www.daemon-tools.com/

only the first CD has protection, and it's not hard to find someone that has these drive

But did u try to use Clone CD?
Fast Skip Errors : ON

is your hardware compadible with clone CD?

if no... and this time you have to get a HP or Plextor or Philips Drive.
