anyone backed up extreme racing g3 yet

well i have tried all the ps patchers and cdrwin then i have even tried the cdclone which does the 1 to 1 copy and it still does not work.
it wants to start but then all i get is a black screen, it must be something in the coding.
if anyone has found or done the backup pls let me know. or has found a patch.

yeh backed up all ok, i had the black screen problems with it at first but it turned out i was just inserting it at the wrong time (i now have 5 copies of it, as it was my first backup, so thought i was doing it wrong).... im using DVD regionx and after that's loaded and stopped spinning i eject the tray and leave it out when i press start, when the black screen come up i put the disc in, it then seems to read it and boot up no problem

Your problem is probably in the boot method.
Either boot using region X
or using the EA Boot method for AR2
http://www.sgt-dans.com
has a good section on booting games
