BIN and CUE

Question:

If the BIN and CUE was created properly, then once burned, PS2 should recognize it? No special burn instructions is need to make the CD bootable by PS2? Is there a mod chip required?

The game I’m trying to burn is Blade II; once I burned the CD I have the following folders: IOP, PS2DATA and files: SLUS_203.60, SYSTEM

PS2 will not recognize it!

Thanks again!

OF COURSE THE PS2 won't recognize it.....
If it were as simple as to just copy a game put in in your PS2 and play WHY WOULD WE NEED MOD CHIPS?????

Blade II is a DVD based game....

There is special procedures for copying a cd based game as well as a dvd based game....

NO MATTER IF THE BIN & CUE WAS CREATED PROPERLY OR NOT. THE PS2 WILL NOT RECOGNIZE IT UNLESS YOU HAVE A MOD CHIP...

Yes

Yes.

Please forgive me for this stupid question, but, in order to play “burned/backup” games do you need a mod chip? Something like Neo 4 or Messiah?
