German Crack for The Thing

Hi Leute, kann mir jemand sagen wo es einen´Crack für die deutsche Version von The Thing ( Das Ding ) gibt?!Wenn ich den für die englische Version benutze sind zwar die Stimmen aif deutsch, jedoch alles andere ( Menü, Erklärungen usw. ) auf englisch!
Würde gerne alles in DEUTSCH haben !!!

Can anyone tell me, where I can find a German-Crack for "The Thing" ??? When I use the one for the English-Version, only the voices in the Game but not the Menü etc. are in German !
I will have all in German !

under "d" like "das ding". maby also now "the thing". just try. if the link won't work at the first time try again. they have problems with too many connections.

overwrite the exe and then u'll have to go to data\german.pak and rename it into "english.pak". don't worry. the game will still be german...mostly. at least the language and names. the breifing logs and notes not...

I want the Game ( if its possible ) complet in German!

You can find that file at megagames.com (section: pc games fixes).
There are two patches to find, but you should use the one by DEVIANCE, cos' the RAZOR1911 patch does NOT working as well.

It seems, the RAZOR1911 patch works fine. WHy do you think, it does NOT working as well ??

It's not possible for me to download the DEVIANCE patch from megagames. I can't get any connection(??). Can you please sent me this patch by eMail ??

unzip the file mainui.pak. In the subfolder levels, there are two files:

thingstrings_de.bt
thingstrings_en.bt

just rename the _de-file in _en and the other way around. then open the _en-file with a hexeditor and change the bytes at offset 34/35 (hex) in EN (hex: 45 4E).

now zip the unziped files back to mainui.pak.
