evox question
2 questions:
assume that i have a mod chip 1- if all i want to do is back up xbox games do i need to install a new dashboard-i.e. do i have to troll the web for the bios that most seam to have but are legally required not to talk about? or can i just download the evox tools from gamecopyworld and burn that to a cdrw? 2 - if by some stroke of luck i did get my hands on a bios- then would i have to flash a bios or is that something that is completly unrelated to me being able to back up my own games. thanks for the info |

1. Yes, you need to install the evoX dashboard. But it's easy to change back and won't hurt your xbox at all (dis-regarding xbox live).
You need the evoX iso burned to a cd-rw/dvd/dvd-rw to install evolutionX on your xbox. The only reason you'd need to flash new bios is if your modchip didn't support the "eject trick", or if you wanted to install a new HDD. 2. Modchips already have hacked bios on them. So unless your installing 30 wires into your xbox, i don't think you have to reflash anything. (unless you have the xodus/matrix modchip)

get the bios, evo x, and other programs on IRC. connect to efnet and go to channel #xbins. go to xbox-scene.com to learn how to install the dashboards and how to use and burn everything.
