What media to use ??

Hello

I have a SONY-DVD 735 player. And it just won't reconize mig own burned CD's They work in my friends DVD-player which is an Kiss or something. I know that it has been burned correctly !!!

So it must have to do with what media I'm using or what ?

I have tried Kodak Silver, Gold, and other brands with no luck. At CD-RW are totally impossible :-(

Any suggestions to what to do besides from throwing out my sony ??

Repmujetis.

Throw out your sony !

First off all make sure your player can handle cd-r.

Some players, which are able to play (s)vcd may refuse to play them, because the discs don't match their specs criteria.
In Nero, e.g. you can choose from 2 settings for creating (s)vcds.

Get Nero, try to write the normal way first (default settings). If you player refuses to play the disc, try the altered settings.

Just a hint, maybe this helps.

its the cd-rs, trust me - my sony wont play copied music cds, unless i burn them on princo's, or (ugh) cdrws....the discs are too reflective for early dvd players.
