Newbie In DVD to DVD World...Help!

I plan on starting to do dvd burning in the very near future. I read guides at dvd2dvd and doom9 and they are very different. Doom9's InfoEdit guide seems to be very complicated which I can deal with as long as it does the job. Which is better dooms guides or dvd2dvd guides?

too start off with i say stick with the guide on dvd2dvdr.com
then when u get familar with it all switch to Blackouts guide which is posted in the DVD Ripping forum on vcdhelp.com

you'll need to get CCE and DVDmaestro when u start to use Blackouts but once u begin to use them u wont go back to anything else.
