Question Medal Of Honor AA crashes

I am new to this forum so "Hi". I got a burnt copy of the game above and installed it. And of course I got the insert CD msg. And this brought me to your forum where I read and got alot of good advice which I followed. I downloaded the cd file and used Win ace to open and followed the instructions. The problem is when I select basic training from the map it boots back to desktop. I am running XP and the version of MOH is 1.0 What did I do wrong?
Thanks

I used an updated version of the .EXE and my back up works. And no it didn't do the "funny stuff" when I used the originals.
I really apprciate the quick response and help. I look forward to reading and helping when I can.
Thanks

no way!

I've been running xp forever and I bought mohaa on day one I've NEVER have any probs running 1.0 or 1.1 from xp (2600 build). It's not the os I promise you that. It's most likely your "burned copy" that's screwy. I used clone cd and it installs fine, just dl the nocd from here and you should be fine. and since you "should have the original if you have a burned copy, that shouldn't be a problem right?...right???
