The gamesharks

After working with some hex editors for some time i remembered those gameshark digits... Are they actually doing what a hex editor does? it looks the same to me but gamesharks doesn't store it on the cd (read only memory) so changes don't stay w/o saving on a vmu/memorycard.

Why i ask this is.. can i make trainers like this or input existing codes into an hex editor to make the codes work.. (ie play with the bosses, and other hacks) im bored and like to mess around with some games a bit and show them to some dudes

And yes.. bored ppl have the weirdest ideas

well i believe a game sharkd does edit some of the game code which you would see in a hex editor but you would need to figure out which part of the code controls the health, etc

very tricky by the sounds of it and i wouldnt recomend
