Copying a DVD to harddrive?

I don't own a dvd player on my pc. I would like to copy dvd's though. Is there any way to copy a DVD to my pc, then write it with my CDR? What programs are available?

Without a DVD-Rom drive for your PC, you aint copying shit that's on a DVD to your HDD... you MUST have one for anything that's on a DVD... The reason being, CD-Rom's won't recognise the DVD-Rom.... period!!!

Hope that clears it up for you... DVD-Roms are cheap as these days... get it in ya!
