Windows 98 no good for DVD backups?

Is it true what I read that Windows 98 is no good to for making backups of DVD's?

It depends how you want to look at it..Fat32 format you're limited to 4gigs where NTFS format such as Win2k,WinXP it goes up more than 4 gigs..
So Win98 or any Os used by Fat32 you need to update the Pxengine where NTFS Os does not require a Px update..

Excuse me for being stupid, but I have run a pxengine update for what I thought was my "A04".

Is this the required pxengine that you speak of?
