The function defeats SD2 protection. If it is disabled it is because the install routine has detected that you live in a country deemed by Elaborate Bytes to have srong copyright laws as against what CloneCD is trying to do.

This function will only work with some cd burners, not all. Try it and see if you're lucky.
Two ways to enable the two lost options if you're USA or UK based. 1. Download CloneAMP from www.cdrsoft.cc 2. Change your country to Canada by (Win 98) START-SETTINGS-CONTROL PANEL-REGIONAL SETTINGS-ENGLISH (canadian) Number 1 did not work for me, but 2 did. Takes ya pick! |

another method that worked was to go to the Registry, find the entry for CloneCD and AmplifyWeakSectors and change the value from 0 to 1.

I've downloaded CloneCd 3.2.2.1 from the Elaborate Bytes website and installed it with Canada as my regional setting. In the registry amplifyweak is set as 1 - as it's suppose to be according to the advice in this forum. Problem is I don't see amplifyweak as a checkbox option in CloneCD. Should I and where would it be in CloneCD? In the copy from CD to image I guess? I'm using a Mitsumi CR-4804TE.
