Which Modchip?
I'd like to know your opinions on which modchip is the best. I have a NSTC version 7 39001. I have a DVD and CD burner. I'm also tired of having to do the swap trick to play anything so no swap is a necessity. Soldering isn't really an issue, I'm planning on taking it down to New Age, and having them put it in. I was leaning toward the Apple chip because it is cheaper and the review gave it a 100% functionality.
One more thing. I've been seeing some Magic 3's. Are those even real, or are they just some cheap knock off that probably don't work?

Add Matrix2 Chip to that list as of now..This thing is another Cyclone Chip Ablility added on..Region Free Mode and Macrovision Free which Cyclone is Supposed to have..

I dont think there is a magic 3, Apple, magic2 or messiah are all excellent.

We have noticed some rather peculiar marketing methods of resellers of the magic2 modchip. Many name changes and false functionality of the magic2. We have heard of magic3, Blue magic2 and just now we have heard Magic2 V5. This has only starting mass confusion with customers that is very unecessary, if you are a reseller of magic2 modchips we encourage you to stay as close to the lineup we have as possible. So basically: There is no Magic 3!

The best is Auto direct boot, no EA patching...

Ah yes.... The Magic 2 is a awesome chip just like the Messiah is but the Matrix 2 may be the way to go... It has more features, region free and disables macrovision, and the price is good. ($69.00 US) We will just have to wait and see.... BUT sounds pretty good so far....
