Megalexxx, thanks for the 60Hz code. It worked for me on 4 games that I tested.

- Ikaruga,
- Garou: Mark of the Wolves,
- The King of Fighters 2000 (fixed for PAL DCs version).
- Cosmic Smash (JAP)

Does NOT work for:
- Yu Suzuki's Gameworks Volume 1.

I added a new entry into the ADRenalin Patcher (in the "Patch.data" file) and used it to patch the games.

It's about time Garou/KoF2K got 60Hzed.

Just curious, how did you find the code?

Eh im new here and found this while searching info about ntsc patches :P

but i always hated pal conversions on my DC especially with cool games like garou, kof and ikaruga..

Well im happy to confirm that ikaruga and KOF2k work with this trick and the games are now full speed and full screen on my TV

I'm gonna try alien front (which i didn't burn for my self yet, so nothing to lose) now.

I will do Fatal fury MOTW usa as soon as i get that game back since some guy borrowed it last week... Anyway thanks for this trick, its not even hard to do.. in fact its easy but it takes about 10 mins per game to open the img and save the changes. Its worth it anyway.

Now its time to enjoy some Kof

Megalexxx. I forgot that you already had a patch, so you could compare. I guess it is easy

I don't suppose you have any other ideas on how to get new 60Hz codes if you don't have a patched one to compare against, or trying other compared .bin codes from other games?

I've found some codes by myself, but it's not for frequency, only to have some games work on PAL DC. That's the reason why I made PAL patcher. I added the 50/60 Hz function because it was "easy".

But now, I need help to find more.

I fixed Fatal fury motw(us) echelon to NTSC with the 0B 42 09 00 01 1F 30 E0 hexa and it rox i think it runs better than the hooligans jap release.. less straming.

And i fixed Alien front online using the 00 E4 03 A0 00 E4 01 A0 00 hexa.. which runs fine now too on a pal DC.

But i want to fix Tennis2k2 next.. any1 knows the string for that game?

i also had an hydro thunder ppf.. but the readme only says:

Tutorial:

applyppf DrC-HTp.CDi DRC-HT60.ppf
Note: if the program says that the image size doesnt
match with the original image size, ignore it, and continue.

But i used the same string as for alien front and it worked. yay!

I've tried & tested it

Change = 01 E4 03 A0 02 E4 01 A0 03

To = 00 E4 03 A0 00 E4 01 A0 00

I'm using HexEdit, but I can't make out how I can do this.

I am trying because the other code failed me a few times, I burned it using Daemon3.16 and DJ3.5 (copy cd to cd), but that gives me a weird read error, then I tried CloneCD, which completed, but that finished copy skips to the menu at the Sega logo over and over.

GL : you don't need the 2nd code. 1st code is enough.
Download the patch with 108Dragon's link, then burn Ikaruga with DiscJuggler, last version.

I figured it out, the problem was my DJv3.5,
so I used cdi2nero and Nero and that worked too.
