Burning dvds......

I dont have a modchip yet cause i want to ask somethin. i only have a cd burner (not a dvd burner) can i burn dvds on my cd burner since most of the xbox games are gigabites big and not megabites......If so what program do i need?

Should i get the x-ecuter modchip or wait for the xonder to come out eh?

O ya one more thing........

SERIOUSLY.....if i buy this modchip i wont have to go through the crap i went through with my ps like......downloadin patches and junk?

No u can only burn DVD's on DVD writer, the Pioneer A04 is the best one to get at the moment using 'Primo DVD software. you can burn X-box games that have been ripped 2 fit on 80min Cd etc. However, CDR do not work properly on the Xbox so all games should be DVD based.

Regards to the Modchip, i have the Enigmah final chip which is excellent, but as you know their are other chips available now with less wires etc, and with nearly the same features as the Enigmah.

I don't think you have to worry about patching ur games, as the old the Beta versions of the Enigmah and Extender had that problem.

Oh i forgot this, you can't copy original X-box games. You need Evolution X BIOS and software, and a link to ur X-BOX and PC via a network cable.

bios aren't really needed, unless you have the 1st gen mod-chips.

So I have to buy a network card cable and a modchip right? Then there is a Bios thing what is that how much does it cost or whatever? Now i was readin about this modchip Open Xbox
(pc to Bioxx) mod chip. So if i but that modchip i can run it to my comp through a network wire? Then i download to my xbox so i can play original games right?if i am right where can i download the content to be installed to my xbox?Am i right?

One more thing if i get the xodus chip it says bios will come with it or somethin? can someone explain what a bios is?

well, gamecopyworld has the 1st version of evoX that you need. Just download the iso file and burn it to a CD-RW.

If you have a cable modem and multiple computers on the net, your most likely to have a router. If you can play games through gamespy, then you can use evolutionX. You just need to have a network between your PC and Your Xbox.

BIOs tell the xbox what to read, how to read, and what not to read (and what to do if there isn't a disc). A modchip such as the X-ecutor and open-bioXX is all you need. Modchips have hacked xbox bios that allow the xbox to read unsigned code. So bios aren't that important.

The open-bioXX is a modchip that is flash upgradeable. That cord only lets you upgrade your modchip incase newer copy prtections and stuff like that are released.

So, you need:
1. A way to set up a network from yout PC, to your Xbox.
2. EvolutionX. This allows you to connect to your xbox.
3. A dvd burner.

ok so let me understand this first of all i need the xonder mod chip?or do i need a different one? THen I get a dvd burner. Now i dont understand why i need my xbox hooked up to the pc. O ya do yano where i can get good deals on dvd burners. Ok what program should i use to make the dvds and do i actually need the
pioneer ao somethin to make the games?

WHat do i need xbox iso tool kit for.? and flash fxp?so after i burn
evolution x to a cd what do i do with it?im confused. O ya so i dont need a dvd BURNER! if not where can i find hacked xbox games opr what ever so i can put on a cdrw. And if i do cdrw what modchip do i need or can it be anyone?

Sorry, i have no idea where good deals are. You need the program "PremoDVD" to burn to a dvd. Any dvd burner that it supports it should be fine.

The modchip can be any, but only the newer ones support the hard-drive replacement hack. (allows you to put a bigger had-drive on the xbox)

FlashFXP is the program you need to connect to your xbox.
Isotoolkit is used to make your game into an ISO file, to burn on a cd.

Yes, games can be put on cd-rw's (not cd-r's). But, you have to rip stuff out, and this can be a very hard process. You can find already ripped games on IRC networks, but I cannot tell you where because it's warez.

Oh yah, you can also put games on your xbox's hard-drive, if you add on a bigger harddrive to your xbox.
