I made a working backup with my TDK VeloCD 40/12/48B and CloneCD. No amplify weak sector was needed.

The game does a check of the CD for CDR Media
I put it in my DVD drive and it works, or set my region to Canada and use the "hide CDR media" option in CloneCD's System Tray.

I am still looking for a NO-CD crack that works, IE: does not break online play. I don't need a "fixed EXE" because I own the game, I do need a No-CD crack because I F'ing HATE having my CD in my drive for no good reason other than wearing out my hardware and risking damage to the CD when I slip up and drop it.

Now, about CloneCD's Supported Writers section. IT NEEDS TO BE UPDATED! The TDK VeloCD 40/12/48B (and X?) DOES support correct EFM encoding. I believe it is based on the Lite On drives?

PS: Why do people like the God awfull overpriced Plextor's so much? They are NOT that great at all. Most people I know that have them have nothing but trouble. I bought a Plxtor CDRW/DVD combo drive and it was junk.
