Which DVD Burner?

i am thinking about getting one of these:

DVRW2412PRO

but every top dick and harry in these forums has a:

pioneer 104

the aopen looks like a much much better drive and actually has features. what is the difference between +\- no one has answered that in here and it seems a critical issue

i will check back in a few days because by the looks of it not many people visit here but its the best place to ask.

The Sony DRU500A is the BEST choice at the moment!

It provides DVD-R at 4x Speed , -RW at 2x and +R/RW at 2,4x Speed.
And this all for only € 400,- !!!
