can't copy delta force: task force dagger

i am having trouble copying delta force:tfd. I first used blindwrite suite and burned it using sao cookedand enhance weak sectors. the game installed but won't work if you try playing the game it gives an error. I tried clonecd 4.0.1.10 but when i put the burned cd in the dvd drive (this is the drive it tells me to put it in because if i have it in my burner it says the disc is missing) The light blinks a couple times then nothing, I try opening the cd-rom and nothing happens so i have to resort to using a paper clip to get the cd out. and yes the drive works with other cds including the original delta force:tfd cd. Does anyone know how i can possibly back-up this game without using a no-cd patch because i can't find one for the update 1.0.09
