HOW TO GET A GUIDE FOr RIPPING+PLAYING PS2 GAMES

I was just wondering how people here learned how to do all this stuff? Even though i am quite familiar with ripping, authoring, playing, dvd ripped vcd movies, I am a newbie in the games area and was hoping someone had guides on HOW TO stuff.

I Dont know anything as of now..i know i need a chip to play games after i burn them but i dont know which chip nor HOW TO BURN THEM!!

Can rip games onto my hard drive and then burn them..if so HOW?

Can i download full Ps2 games from If so where? Is it safe? What do i do after i downlaod it??

AND MOST OF ALL HOW DO I BURN THE GAMES??

Im sorry if i am being a little too eager but i was wanting to do this for a long time, and i have finally found the rght forum!!!

I really wish i could get guides like on vcdhelp.com
with pictures is not necessary but id there was that would be greast too!

First of all, read the forum rules before posting. No asking questions about how to/where to download games. I wouldn't recommend ripping games cause you have to take out all the good stuff like movie sequences and such to get the game to fit on a cd-r and its also very time consuming. Also, ripped games wear out your ps2 laser much faster. I highly recommend you get a Pioneer A04 dvd burner instead. The best mod chip to get would be the Magic 2. Read charlie_ps2 link for more details on it. He's the brainiac on this board.

Purpose of this site and this board is to help backing up original games. And when I mean original that is original and nothing else.

Don't come here if You plan to post/ask about :
- serials, if You have original game then serial is there
- crack for serials - see above
- where to get Games/Apps etc. etc. the answer is plain and simple - in stores
- 'how can I make my RIP work with this patch?' - we talk about original games here, You remember?
- 'I have FLT/DEViANCE/whatever elses ISO and the game/patch wont work' - see above
- 'I have original XXXX game and it won't work' - we're not technical support, contact them
- 'How to copy game XXXX' - if You want this information always and I mean always tell us what's Your burner and what program do You use
- 'when GCW will post patch for game XXXX' - it'll be there when someone send it here, we do not produce them and EMPiRE isn't monitoring his email 24h/day, it could be today, it could be tomorrow and it could be two weeks - so wait patiently
- 'You all s**k' - we know, You don't have to tell us
- search before You post!!! answers to Your questions might be here, if I see 1000th topic about something that was 1000 times answered before I'll close/delete it

If You plan to violate the rules then don't come here, You're not welcome, Your posts will be deleted and if You're annoying enough You'll end up banned. So okay if i cant rip and you guys dont recommend me downloading games. The stuff that you guys are doing is>>??? Copying?? You get the original game and you copy it?? HOW?? Where can i get a messiah chip from and WHERE CAN I GET STEP BY STEP TUTORIALS FOR WHATEVER you guys are doing to play games on your ps2 for free. I am not rich..i cant go out a buy them...neither am i rich enough to go to bolckbuster everyday..the game pass thing has finished!! LOL HELP!

so Your saying i cant use my MEMoreX Cd-R 700 mb ???
Also i was wondering..if i so this with cd-r in my cd burner...and play it in my ps2 ..that will mess up my ps2?? is that right? to what extent??

Also..when i burn it onto my cd-r...and play it (say its final fantasy x) it wont play the movie clips and all?? is that right ? if so whats the fun in that>>? How burn it so that it plays the movie clips(story) ?? Do i need a dvd burner for that..so i can put iot on to dvd-x??

ALSO ONE MORE thing..if i get the messiah or magic 2 ......i can oplay backup games without swaping meaning i do not the original game after i have the Backup right??

I have a Phillip cd writer will that work to burn the backup games succesfully with clobne CD??

this site is down it is currently not working...i have read the whole process in detail and whenever i had questions i have posted it ..lol..

this is a long process, but i kn0ow once i have done it a couple of times it becomes a very easy process...i just need all the softwarre...the modchip installed..and ill be on my way. ALSO DOES ANYONE know WHO can install the modchip for me>>?? where should i call??

One more question...my friend..just needed a modchip to play all the games he burned. He didnt need to have the original dvd game. Will i need the original dvd game even after i have the backup cd??
