Looking for an Image extension list.
I've been trying to locate a list of image-file extension and the related burning software. Seems to me theres so many different types of burning software and each or most have there own imagefile format.
Is there a listing of all the different burner software and which type of imagefile they will burn? Thanks for replying in advance....

I'll tell you some of it.The most popular ones..
1. .BIN and .Cue is for GoldenHawk CDRWin 2. .CCD, .IMG and .Sub is for CLone CD 3. .Gi is for Verita's Prassi with A03 or A04 4. .Cdi is for Disc Juggler 5. .NRG is for Nero These are main extersions for the popular softwares. There are several more but the top five are the main ones generally people use.

Image extensions
Thanks for the info. Most of them i've used in the past but not all. I'm kind of suprised theres never been an official list compiled someplace. That could be a my new mission for a while......
Any other people out there want to add to the OFFICIAL IMAGE FILE FORMAT EXTENSION LIST?

most people dont bother with lists because they generally burn back with the program they created the image with. or they do whatever the release groups nfo tells them.

Some additions:
> .bwt is for BlindWrite > .rdb, .md1, .xa is for Gear > .cdp, .ncd is for NTI > .c2d is for WinOnCD (full image) > .cif (.iso) is for Easy CDCreator But who the hell uses these progs (besides BW, of course?)

The List Compiled.
Heres what we've got so far:

I prefer ISO's myself.
