Vcd's to Dvds

Is it possible to burn vcds onto a Dvd and play the dvd-r in a dvd player? Wondering if you can do this and fit like 10 or so vcd formated episodes or movies and they will play in a dvd player and read the dvd and also read the vcds on there or does it have to be in a dvd format to play? if so how do you go about changing vcds and mpg1 into dvd format? thanks

you might get a lot of better help over here www.vcdhelp.com

I have no idea im guessing you can probably put like 2 movies worth onto a dvdr but sacraficing the quality isn't worth it imo

Yes just use TMPEG Encoder. With that you can make just about any format VCD, SVCD, and DVD.

Yes Virtual Dub is a good program but its not always necessary. I only use it to extract divix format sound.
