NFL Madden 2003 installation issues...
I made a copy of my original Madden 2003 with Nero and tried to install it on my laptop.
The copied CD autorun and i get the message "C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NFL Madden 2003\launch.exe Not Found!" It seems as if the game was already installed but no previous versions or demos of this game exist on my laptop! A software protection that checks for a valid CD before installation ? (My original CD displays a window to enter the serial number as soon as it autoruns for the first time on my desktop PC). Or something is screwed in the registry??? Anyone else with the same problem? Thanks! |

Had a friend with same problem, we just copied the entire cd to C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Madden NFL 2003 and copied over the crack and it worked. I couldn't explain why, but it did.

The problem was with the "launch.exe" file and the checks it did...
I copied the entire CD to an empty folder, replaced original with cracked exe and tried to install but it didn't work... Then i replaced "launch.exe" with "NFL Madden 2003 Internet Demo.exe" from the Madden 2003 demo. These are the same, only the second doesn't check anything! Then edited the "autorun.cfg" in the Autorun folder to point to "NFL Madden 2003 Internet Demo.exe" instead of "launch.exe" and it worked!!! |
